International Research School in Conceptual History and Political Thought

The third Concepta’s “Introduction to Conceptual History” summer school began today at the University of Helsinki. The summer school is organized in co-operation with the Centre for Nordic Studies (University of Helsinki), Centre of Excellence in Political Thought and Conceptual Change (University of Jyväskylä), Danish Research School for History, POLITU – Finnish Political Science Doctoral School and Helsinki Summer School.

This year 25 students in all are taking part in the course. They come from various universities in Finland, Denmark, Great Britain, Hungary, Israel, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Romania and Russia. The course will last for three weeks and consists of introductory lectures, workshops and the Contemporary Trends in Conceptual History Seminar which will be held on 16-17 August 2007.
